Lighthouses gallery

In the summer 2017, I led a series of workshops for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay’s Youth Environmental Education Programs in Boston for youth and teens ages 7-17.
I gave each of them cardboard plates with outlined lighthouse shapes. We discussed the purpose of lighthouses, how they work, and their historical significance. The kids painted the cardboard plates and named each lighthouse, which they did with great enthusiasm.
